This year mascots from all over the creative commons are teaming up to make math fun in a whole new way! Tux, GNU, Wilbur, Pipi, and Kongi are teaming up with Pyoneers from over the US to make math principles like Arithmetic, Developmental Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry fun to learn again! Remember learning isn't fun if it isn't made fun. Help our mascots teach math to students everywhere!
For 2011, the competition theme can be applied to the artwork, story, function, and music of the game. We encourage each team to be creative in implementing this theme.
-
Artwork – graphics, animations, and graphical user interface (GUI) layouts
-
Story – motivational pull of the game through a tale, adventure, or presented problem that must be understood by the end user to navigate or enjoy the game.
-
Function – mechanisms in the game that allows the end user to interact and play with the game.
-
Music – all audio used throughout the game.
Please read the 2011 Summer pyGames essential Documents.pdf for complete details.
