Tech News Update: Wrapping up!

Hi,

The days are counting down to Saturday@5pm! I've been getting emails asking questions about last minute features or how to turn the game into an XO package. Recently a developer from pygame has been hanging out in the #summerpygames IRC chat and he's answering questions with skill and ease. Make sure to thank markamber in the chat for coordinating the meet up. Also don't forget the websites www.pygame.org and http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Creating_an_activity#Package_the_activity as reference.

Besides all of these resources, don't forget that there are 2 seasons of games to pull ideas from! Go to the Games page and checkout Burnie's Balloons. It has examples of playing musical tracks and sound effects. It's packaged as an XO -- I've installed it many times. An XO is really a zip file. Rename it to .zip, use your favorite archive extractor, and take a look at the directory/file structure and open up each file into a text editor like Notepad++, or vim, or emacs. Did I cover all of the editors?

Great luck to all of you!
