2011 Summer pyGames Competition Submission

MASCOT MATH!

This year mascots from all over the creative commons are teaming up to make math fun in a whole new way! Tux, GNU, Wilbur, PyGame, and Kongi are teaming up with pyoneers from over the US to make math princables like Developmental Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry fun to learn again! Remember learning isnt fun if it isnt made fun. Help our mascots teach math to students everywhere!

  1. Choose a subject from the following math sections of the Khan Academy; Developmental Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry
  2. Make sure and use a open source mascot in your game
  3. Be creative! You can use a previous game to build on or create a new game of your own!

Development Path

New Games and Modified Games are judged slightly differently and biased toward new games. This does not mean that with great documentation and a beautiful game design you cant modify a game and win just that we want you to learn to make new and awesome stuff and share it with the community. Remember next year everything submitted is creative commons and useable by other teams.

Documentation

It looks like we are making you write a lot this year. This is mostly to help our judges get a better understanding of the work you've put into developing your game. You can technically skip almost all of the writing but we dont recoment it. The more you help us understand you know what you are doing the better job our judges can to when examining your game.
